This conference took place on the 22-24 November 2022 at the Anchorage Hotel & Spa in Port Stephens, NSW. A total of approximately 80 guests joined us over the course of the three days set amidst a stunning location. The audience consisted of leaders and experts from academia, business and industry, government, not-for-profit, research, the commercialisation sector.
The event was sponsored by Hall & Wilcox and the event explored alignment between funders and the community. It focused on the benefits, harm and wastage in the medical research ecosystem and how together the sector can lead cultural and systems change in order to do better. It will also brainstormed ways the sector can improve efficiencies and communication with various stakeholders, including the general community.
Because success relies on harnessing many skill sets across various sectors including research, industry, investors, government and philanthropy, the conference focused on the role each of these play in achieving outcomes.
