When will early bird registrations open and close?

Early bird registrations will open later in 2026 and will close at 6pm AEST on 1 September 2027.

Due to the location of the venue, we recommend that those who are interested register for the event and book accomodation at Pacific Bay Resort as soon as they can to avoid missing out. Discounted rooms starting at $239 have been blocked out for the event, but will be released to the general public on the 11th October 2027, after which time discounted rates will no longer be available and room availability can no longer be guaranteed.

What type of registrations are available?

NFMRI is not offering single day registrations. Instead, to simplify registrations, NFMRI is offering full conference registrations only, which include complimentary access to a networking function on the evening of the 23rd November 2027, as well as a formal sit-down dinner on the 24th November 2027.

Are there any discounts available for students or charity employees?

Grant-making charities who offer competitive grants to external organisations are entitled to receive two registrations for the price of one full registration (only available for early bird registrations). Simply register one individual and email the details of the second individual to: .

Can I approach investors or donors to support my project?

As this conference is as much about education and learning as it is about strategy and impact, a strict non-solicitation policy is in place. Under no circumstances are individuals to be approached for funding or support of any kind. Attendees soliciting for support may be asked to leave.

What is the conference refund and cancellation policy?

All refund requests must be made in writing to . Refund requests will be granted as follows:

In the event that public health order restrictions require NFMRI to cancel or postpone the event, or if a delegate is unable to travel to and from Pacific Bay Resort to attend NFMRI’s conference due to state government border closures, a full refund of the conference registration fee will be offered.  NFMRI is not liable for any transaction fees charged by your bank or credit card company.

Accomodation and travel cancellations are not the responsibility of NFMRI. Guests should refer to the terms and conditions of their individual travel providers.

For general cancellations the following will apply:

Request received by close of business on 1 September 2027: a full refund is applicable less an administration fee representing 20% of the original registration fee

Request received after 1 September 2027: refunds are not permitted, substitution only

Are there any credit card processing fees when registering?

Fees to attend our event will be charged in Australian dollars and can be paid through the Humanitix platform via Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay. There may be a small booking or payment processing fee depending on the method of payment selected.
